Thread: changing set ups.......any needed down time?

Default changing set ups.......any needed down time?

going from a 65 tall that's been driving me crazy, to a 75 long that has struck me as perfect.
Only question is....... is it cool to swap my setup into the new setup without much of a down time?

Only difference really is a slight water change, and things getting moved over..

if your using the water out of the 65 to fill the 75 and the same rock etc. you should be good to do it all in the same day. I have read on here were people move one tank from one location to another and with plenty of planning and lots of water containers have the tank setup in the new location the same day.

Add new (dry) sand and established rock, ready to roll.

Reg, better make sure the 100 has cycled first. If it is cycled, you are just moving rock/stock from one tank to another....
