    How would you all light a 4'x4'x2' rimless aquarium? sps/clams etc....

    was considering one large sleek light with combo t5 and 250 watt halides (suspended)...have yall seen anything that could potentially be enough coverage

    Ah, my favorite part of a tank...setting it up.

    For MH, I'd go with suspended Lumen Max reflectors powered by 250W or 400W Ice Cap ballasts.

    If you want t5, how about the 6 bulb tek fixture. I've got a 4 bulb on a 2X2X2 and it looks great.

    I know you will come back w/ bigger and better tank someday. I am using Sfiligoi XR6 400wMH,4ea 24w actinics, and 4 LED moonlights. So far am very happy with it. I don't know how much you willing to spend but the Sfiligoi and Geismann combo are very sleek looking. Come by and check out my tank sometimes if you want. My tank is 48x48x16 rimless.
    Reefing is just like cooking, all the ingredients have to be just right , except you don't have to bring the water to a BOIL...
