    Default Disappointed in Jell-O

Tonight, while my wife prepared blue Jell-O jigglers for my girls, I felt the urge to check the validity of a prank I always thought would be fun to perform. Unfortunately, my calculations seem to have made it appear unfeasible.

Anybody ever heard of filling a swimming pool with Jell-O?

    Take a pool 16'x32', average depth 5.75'. That's 22,021 gallons. 352,336 cups.

A package of Jell-O will make four cups. So, you need 88,084 packages for your pool. Assume a cost of $0.50 a package. Total cost for supplies, $44,042. That cost doesn't factor in shipping.

Other concerns my wife brought up: hot water for dissolving the Jell-O, agitation so it doesn't all settle to the bottom and make that nasty thick layer, refrigeration for the setting process.

Can anybody restore my hope to one day produce a giant bowl of Jell-O?
    Logic?!? Auuggggghhhh!!!!

funny, yes, there is another type of jello that they use, I think you can find it at hobby lobby. We put it a friends toilet, poored a cup of water to give it a shimmer and when he went to use it, it sprayed back at him. Very funny BUT the only way to get that stuff out is to acctualy go in and scoop it out. I'll find out what the name of that stuff is.

Mix it up in the middle of the summer when it is over a hundred here in SOTEX, and then hit it with 10 100lb bottles of C02 to cool it down. (Or just steal/borrow an ice truck)
