The Collection cup was getting cleaned about once a week - also it takes about 4 days to fill - am I not skimming enough or just a low bio load?

How did the carpet turn out? On the skimmer doesn't the outflow tube adjust? I have a RO skimmer too and if i put the outflow tube all the way up the water inside the skimmer goes all the way to the top and will start flowing into the cup. It should pull up or something.

LOL We salvaged it - thankfully it was fresh RODI so no salt stains - it did have to be re-stretched and I had to put a new pad down.

Its an Octo Skimmer - I have to run it almost closed to make it pull up - What do you mean 'put the outflow tube all the way up'?
