    Default Blue Zoo

Just got a shipment from bluezooaquatics.com. Decent prices (along with free shipping for orders over 99) and fish all arrived alive and in good condition. I just got a majestic foxface, and group of bartlett anthias.

Only complaint is that they said they had a Medium Mustard Tang in stock but then one didn't ship... Hope it wasn't a loss

    Hey Fishy,
I have still never ordered from Blue Zoo but have heard all good things, so I would consider it if they had just what I was looking for at just the right time. Almost ordered from them twice but both times was able to get it locally. We get their emails a couple of times a week and drool on the keyboard!

Keep me posted, if you would, about your new group of barlett's anthias (how may by the way?). We have a trio we've had around six months, maybe more, that are doing great. The female that is lowest in pecking order has been hiding a bit more, just in the past few days, so I have been upping my feedings to try to give her ample opportunity to get what she needs. She still looks fine and probably just got put in her place so she is more shy, but out of concern I thought I'd better do what I could.

Welcome to MAAST and soon to SA! Edit: Scratch that part about soon to SA... looks like you are already here! (Might be time to update your location in your user profile. )

Call Martin and ask about that fish that didn't ship. They normally would tell you what's going on. I've had very positive experiences with Blue Zoo and wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

    Default Good

Overall the experience was good and the fish are doing well. I am not terribly upset that the fish ordered wasn't sent just surprised I didn't get a call or email before the order came. It wouldn't detract me from ordering again.

I got the flamethrower anemone from them. I was worried as it was freezing outside. It was the healthiest anemones I have gotten. It attached very quickly and never really deflated/gaped even in acclimation. I would order from them again.
