I need some scuba gear.

I am looking for cheap SCUBA gear. I need a XL BCD and a 2-3X wet suit shorty. I am 240 lbs and I only go diving 2 times a year. I don’t want to spend 500 dollars for it.
I will spend:
75-100 for a nice used newer BCD Xl or 2XL (Only with integrated weights.)
20-30 dollars for a Wet suit 2-3XL
10 dollars for a nice short blade dive knife.
10 dollars for split fins size 11-12
25-50 for an entry level dive computer.
10-40 dollars for a light
I know I am cheap, but if you have it sitting around and want to get it out of your hair. I have the cash.

I dont think you'll be that lucky to get all that for $500, but I have seen a $3000 set up for for pennies.

try pawn shops, you may have to call around to see what they have.

I have a light but if you want it your going to have to pay more then 40. All let it go for 80

I have a knife too all let it go for 20 its a fold out knife, Its kinda cool

Im getting scube certified this spring. Ive started buying my gear, all new. From the other divers ive talked to used really isnt they way to go. Id trust new equipment over used any day 40-50ft under water. Not to mention people urinate in those wet suits. JMO I understand saving money, but I too might go two maybe three times a year.
