    Shagman (always makes me think you sell carpet ...lol)
    the Midas blenny does not eat algae. it eats zooplankton in the wild (hence it's more in the water column, etc.
    Sounds like a Midas Blenny might be the last fish for my tank ;)

    I got one
    It's super cute. Love the big blue eyes peaking out of his rock!
    I thought it would be yellow but only the tail and the side stripe are yellow. Amazing how that critter is so long with a long tail and still manages to back into holes tail first so fast!
    Thanks for the recommendation. I think this one will be a really sweet addition to my tank.

    I am so glad you got one. They are very personable. When I have my nose to the glass the blenny will come up eye to eye. Very cool. My yellow tang will go wherever I put my finger against the glass. She will get into staring contests with me, and let's me pet her when I scrape the glass.

    Thanks again for posting about this fish. This is the most adorable fish I've ever seen! Just gorgeous, personable and reef safe (unlike some blennies). Really a wonderful fish.
