You know giving birth at home you can do even more than just watch TV.
For Nikki's birth I went into labor on a Wednesday morning. Went into town and saw the midwives. Since we were in town anyway I went to Polly's Pets (was pre- MAAST membership) and looked at corals (husband said we didn't need to buy corals while in labor but my midwives said I deserve any coral or fish I want and if that's what I want to do then that's what we should do -awesome midwives!).
Bought a coral. Went back home. Had the baby that afternoon (coral was properly acclimated at that time of course)
