Great job, it looks cool. I've got somewhat of a beater myself (although it will be considered a classic in a few more years). It's a '92 landcruiser. Mine isn't the typical landcruiser you see everyday, it's the "safari edition", or something like that. No leather or any other frills, this one was built to be driven off the beaten path. It's in EXCELLENT condition, I literally bought it from a 75 year old retired librarian in some little town about 75 miles north of Austin (she was the second owner, the original owner was the town dentist). The place didn't even have a stop light, just a flashing yellow. Anyway, the truck is great. I can fit my entire family, haul them and all of my surfboards to the beach, fill the thing with sand, and hose it all out when I get home. If i drive more than 7 miles tomorrow the odometer will read 160k, and I only paid $3k for it. I see landcrusiers with over 250k going for twice that all the time on CL.
The only down side is that it's full time 4wd. I'm not 100% positive, nor do I want to be really, but I would guess that I get about 8-9 mpg (and I only run premium in it, ouch!) if I'm lucky and only driving with a tail wind.
