    Default Yahoo Answers for SW

Have you ever answered questions on yahoo answers? Every blue moon I get on there as a sort of community service. It's frustrating to see the vast amounts of bad info people are handing out like its Halloween candy.

Very cool. I might check i tout from time to time. I hate when I google something and I end up on Yahoo Answers. It's the worst use of a "wiki" type platform that I have ever seen. It's like a bunch of kids on there.

So, thank you Justin for attempting to make a difference.

It's not glamorous lol. People want to hear that it's ok to put 25 fish in a ten gallon or an anemone in a tank that's only 2 months old. It's mostly fish store lore that gets passed around; I try to offer good advice but also some good reading material that will maybe get passed around.

One reply?.........If I had asked about facebook..... LOL

My favorites are the questions about trying to recreate all the Finding Nemo fish in an aquarium together (I've seen both the dentist's office aquarium version of this question and the ocean reef version). Don't ask me how / why I came upon this. I have no idea.

Justin, you must be the most patient man in the world... first you use your spare time to moderate the nonsense around here, then when you run out of that to do, you go over to talk with the truly uninformed and set them straight. I get so frustrated with the silliness that I cannot even bear to keep reading. Where do you even start?

I can see it now, Referring Yahoo Answers members to MAAST: "The MAAST Outreach Program"

I wish I had more patience. It's more like remembering that yahooanswers.com was the first place I tried to find answers on my saltwater questions.
