    Karin, check with the local dive shops in regards to gear. They do rent out gear - especially if use them for classes. That is how I started out before I got my grant to purchase all my gear.

    around how much do they run ??? after being in Honduras with a snorkel i told my self i would get certified lol

    I'd like to wait a little bit though because only the first two classes are in the indoor pool, after that it's at the lake. I like it a little warmer
