    Default My DIY sump

I decided to build my own sump since I could not find one with the dimensions and layout that I wanted. I purchased the acrylic and Weld-On from Allied, great service and great prices. Total cost without labor about $120. With labor??? Here are a few pics. Top left is where the drain comes in. From there it splits and goes into a bubble trap and into the fuge. The other wall spills into the skimmer chamber. The fuge drains into the pump chamber and the whole thing starts over again. All in all a fairly easy project.
