Thx man. That tank has been chilling for over 6 months with no fish...so it's loaded with all kinds of pods and mysis shrimp too. I'm hoping that will be some live food for the clowns too.

The 144 sump only has Chaetomorpha and Razor Caulerpa. The nano has a little bit of all kinds.

Thanks everyone! Can't wait for them to grow up and get into the main display...I don't like keeping them in a nano with such a small water volume. Makes me nervous.

Wow. Those must be tiny! Can you just plumb your nano into your main display tank's sump so they share water volume?

Yeah, they are about an inch maybe a bit over. Good idea on the plumbing but not feasible for me. I did think about putting them in my sump though.

They started eating last night and chasing iso pods. Yay. I was starting to get a little worried.

Glad to hear they've settled into their new/temporary home! You don't need to be too concerned with flow... the flow in their grow out tank is much stronger than anything in your 8gal cube I'm sure.

Thanks Brad. It was nice chatting with you on Sunday. Thanks for all the info. I think I might direct the return back to the surface...I hate not having surface agitation.

Aim it at the surface, Ive got my 2 babies in a 10g with a MJ600 and a 200gph HOB and they LOVE the flow. Also they are SUPER picky with what they will eat, I have found that they absolutely LOVE and scarf down Mysis shrimp over any other type of food.

I noticed...Sunday and Monday they did not touch anything. Tuesday night they started eating. When I turn off the pumps all of the isopods...tiger pods...whatever start swimming around and they were chasing them.

They also started eating my mixed food. It has a little bit of everything in it. I thaw out various types of frozen food and then mix together and re-freeze, so I have no idea what they actually like.

Thanks for the info Jarob. I may try getting some frozen mysis. I do have lots of live mysis in their tank...so it will be interesting to see how long my pod pouplations and mysis hang in there.

Yea I use a thawed mix too for my main tank and thats what I fed the babies with also for the first few weeks but noticed that they would only pick at a few things from the mix so I decided to test one at a time to see what they were picking out from the mix to lessen pollution; it was the mysis! Im gonna try shutting off the pumps for a while and see if the pods come out to play, good idea, ive got tons of them.
