    Looking to adopt a Beagle Puppy! For my parents..

    Any recommendations?

    You can check Craigslist, but beware there are some scammers on there and the self-appointed CL police flag half the ads on there. You won't find puppies for "sale" but you will find them for "rehoming" fees. I would check petfinder.com. That's where I found a puppy recently. You can do a search by animal type, breed, and distance to you. Pretty much every adoption agency/shelter/rescue group is listed on there with tons of dogs/puppies. You might even google for beagle rescue groups. You'd be surprised how many breed specific rescue groups there are. I just recently adopted a German shepard puppy for my son from a German shepard rescue group outside of SA.

    Eve, is there a reason they want a beagle? At the risk of offending others... they don't always make the best pets...

    We have a Beagle....love our Beagle.....but Bstreep is correct they are not an easy pet, very stubborn, very smart, and not eager to please.

    Its like a bad game of chess where the Beagle somehow always has checkmate ;-)
