So...from what they are saying my seats are already reserved and it doesn't matter what time I pick them up because they are already assigned...it just doesn't show on the website but will show on my tickets.

Is that how you read it?

Hmm... looks like I should've read the fine print all the way to the end. However, that still is no excuse for not telling customers which seats are available before they purchase the ticket. A customer shouldn't have to drive to the theater to find out they have a good or bad seat.

You are correct Rob. Your seat is guranteed, you just don't know which seat that is until you have your ticket in hand.

that is exactly how it works

you can also go strait to the kiosk and pick them up vs standing in line. you must have the credit card you purchased them with no matter what.

Cool, thanks guys. I also agree Ryan... I want to know if I have a good seat now so I can make other arrangments in case I have a poor seat. Think I might stop by tonight and pick up my tickets to find out.

the imax downtown will show you the seats and whats available and will let you choose your seats. however, this would not work with something of avatar's magnitude.

Just got back seeing it in 3D. Movie was excellent! Going on my Top 10 of all time. Im a huge Scifi/Action fan and this hit home with the extra coolness of new technology.

It was definitely worth the money (even if I only paid $1; you've got to love gift cards)! I didn't try 3D this time, but enjoyed it all the same. The concept of the world of Pandora is awesome. Makes me wonder how good Avatar the game will be.

I'm not normally big on SciFi...but this movie was AwEsOmE! My wife and I just got back from seeing it at the IMAX in 3D! We both loved it. Great visual effects and a wonderful story. Very engaging.

I purchased tickets online in advance and thought for sure we would have good seats. WRONG! We were assigned seats off to the sides and in the front... we could not even see the bottom quarter of the screen. F8 and F7 were our seats. Well, I went to Guest Services as Ryan suggested in this thread and they were very helpful and allowed me to view the available seats on a chart. Red was taken and green was available. So we got the last row on the top, P13 and P14....dead middle...was PERFECT!

Thanks for everyone's feedback on this thread. It made our experience the best possible.

If you haven't seen Avatar...go see it.

I'm glad they let you move seats, though I am a little jealous.
