I've removed these items before, and i removed another tonight. But i dont know if this "snail" is okay to let live in my tank. Can anyone identify and enlighten me? thanks

Agree w/ Ace. I have tons of them in mine and they have not harmed anything that I know of. I did research on them when I found them in my tank and everything points to beneficial

Beneficial, and one of the few marine snails that will readily reproduce in your tank -- there pretty much is no one selling Stomatella outright, so the ones that are seen are all hitchhikers/tank 'bred' in hobbyists hands

These are my favorite snails. I like when they send "smoke signals".
