I've removed these items before, and i removed another tonight. But i dont know if this "snail" is okay to let live in my tank. Can anyone identify and enlighten me?thanks

Agree w/ Ace. I have tons of them in mine and they have not harmed anything that I know of. I did research on them when I found them in my tank and everything points to beneficial

Beneficial, and one of the few marine snails that will readily reproduce in your tank -- there pretty much is no one selling Stomatella outright, so the ones that are seen are all hitchhikers/tank 'bred' in hobbyists hands

These are my favorite snails. I like when they send "smoke signals".
Hehe I love those snails!
I've gotten the regular color one and I even got an albino one!
But I haven't seen it in months. :( :(
There's a bunch of babies in my hang on 'fuge though.
