Fishworks in Austin does alot of that big tank stuff. Give John, the owner, a call (512) 413-0617.

Are there any San Antonio movers you could recommend as well? A guy is buying a fish tank in Austin but needs it moved to San Antonio.

I am the owner of Aquatic Interiors Unlimited in SA. I can vouch that Kingfish in Austin has the ability to move the tank

I had alot of problems getting my 400 oceanic 3/4" glass tank moved too. I had several piano moving companies look at it and say they couldnt do it (they all showed up with less than the 6 people minimum I said could even lift the thing). Holey Mackeral Aquariums finally got it done-- it took 8 HUGE dudes to move it with piano dollies, high end suction cups, and brute force. It wasnt cheap but I was relieved to get my new purchase home! Apparently there are no returns once the previous owner drains 400 gallons of salt water on his lawn (I bet he still cant grow grass!).

I was looking around for something similar I found a site http://www.movers-moving-companies.c...pany_Texas.htm

you can either look at their san antonio movers page or their austin movers page - both show companies that service both ways (i.e. they can pick your tank up and drop it off). You want to make sure that the company you use can handle fragile goods though :P
