HLLE I would almost bet a millyon dollars on it. LOL. You see how the other spots on the tang are becoming more apparent? That's the spots on their Lateral Line. Water quality and stray current would most likely be the problems. Good call Kristy!

I haven't felt any jolts at all... but I do have a grounding plug that I can plug in right away.

I don't think this thing is healing since today is the first day its had the ring, rather I would assume it will get worse.

Water parameters are all sweet, with the exception of the 'trates. Going to check after the water change settles (just did a 20% this morning). I haven't checked anything like calcium or akalinity though.

when I got the Little Tang it was bony or skinny with bones jutting out at the lungs and spine... or where the lungs should be anyway... but just in the last two weeks he's come around to a nice full look and his color has been showing more often than not.

I'll go plug in the grounding plug, what else should I check for to confirm the lateral line thing?

Todd, Milly's first remark this morning when we saw the mark was that the Little Tang had ring worm... but no cats... no cat fish...

Ok, now that looks terrible. Here are the differences as I see them though.

The Little Tang doesn't have, like you mentioned earlier, in the locations depicted in the gif. Even the photo that showed those other spots (not visible ordinarily, we were suprised to see them in the photo.

The other thing is, and I'm not sure what the beginings of that desease looks like, it is only a coloration issue at this point. The pictures above look as if the flesh is rotting off or peeling back. In fact the LT spot was barely visible late last night before the lights went out.

I'll post later today when the lights come on to update on whether the spot is still there... or, god forbid, whether its gotten worse.

Kids! Who said kids were a good idea?

Ok, LT has no spot this morning. Think it could have been stung?
