Good call on taking out some of that rock. Sometimes less is definitely more. Great start, Alex!

Looks good Alex! The stain job isn't that bad man. I was expecting something much worse after reading your post bashing your stain work.

    I do like that rock!

no idea. all i know is that joseph [the dude i bought it from] bought it when jeremy closed the b&b shop. so if anyone remembers the tank they might know. but i didn't like the back part so i gutted it and am adding a sump.

right now i have my pink skunk pair and my mandarin. i plan on removing the pair and adding a school of glass cardinals [apogon leptacanthus] and 1 or 2 cirrhilabrus wrasses.

yeah i bought up all i could find at aquarium masters. lol. i think i left like 2 pieces, but there are easily 13-14 lbs. [$97-$105] each. i might buy them after i get paid and keep them for my next build.

man, your right it looks all right now that a tank is on it. but when i was doing it on saturday, it was hot and the stain kept drying before i could wipe it down. so in the sun you can see the blemishes. but in the area it is in it has no direct light shining on it, so it doesn't look too bad.

Yeah I'm not sure I never looked into it, but as Alex said I bought it from Jeremy at B&B. Maybe someone knows?
