Overdue Introductions?
So, I figured I may as well go ahead and do an introduction post, since I've never really formally introduced myself around these parts... A few know/knew me before, but I'm sure most of you have no clue
I'm Justin, the self-proclaimed wheelchair ninja.. I broke my back at the L1 vertebrae about 5 years ago, which allowed me to finally get my hands salty, per se, after years of interest. I've lurked around here for about 4-5 years, just been too busy for typical forum life until recently. I'm a computer nerd, and work as a Backup/Networking Engineer at a hosting firm here in San Antonio. I've also done some writing and assistance for Bob Fenner over at WetWebMedia, including a couple articles for Conscientious Aquarist magazine as well as site-specific articles and daily Q/A assistance.
I've also been known to be a bit unabashed in stating my opinion, and I know this sometimes ruffles feathers.... everyone is free to tell me to back down any time ;)
Its great to see how open and welcoming of a community there is here, and I'm glad to finally have the time to be a part of it ;)
Ciao!

Beware with offers like "any time" -- my mornings start at 10 PM, being that I'm the night hawk making sure your interwebs have backups ;) That one could bite you!
Thanks for the kind welcomes!

Oh no this is trouble. I love you justin. hahah. Justin has a wealth of information and is not a newbie in this hobby. Hey when are you going to get your tank up in running. We need to get it drilled.

I drilled it 3 weeks ago, bud ;) Plumbing is this weekend, rock within the next 2-3... then its the waiting game
Thanks for the offers on the help, but I'm stubborn on all this -- all I really need is profntbtr to be my grunty legs where I can't do it and move the tank itself around.. thats done, now I get to have the next part of my fun ;)
BTW -- anyone who's got a basketball of chaeto growing and can spare, oh, a baseball to a football (yeah, I know how it grows ;) ) here in about a month, I'll gladly put it to good filtrational use!

Will do. Shouldn't be long now, the almighty bonus check is next week ;)
5 bucks for a baseball of chaeto really isn't that bad -- for those people who don't know about great communities like this, they're often lucky if they can find it at a LFS, much less purchase it reasonably..
