Drinking is the reason to go there. Jk I haven't been there since two birthdays ago and a stupid bartender told me I was too old to be doing that. So I haven't gone back. My girlfriend won't stop with the old jokes now but it's in good fun.

Being serious now.... I would hit up the parks. It should be a nice cool weekend.

lol your not that old ... i went with a bunch of teachers (most in the 30-40's) from a elementary school that was pretty fun lol

Go eat at the Oasis on Lake Travis around dusk really cool view of the sunset.
Frisbee golf courses galore.
Check out the bats at dusk on S Congress bridge over Town Lake.

Just go walk around downton, it's really nice. Town lake and Zilker always have things going on, you would just have to look up their event schedules. There's also a statue park which really has some odd pieces in it. Rent some bikes and go for a cruise, then go eat and drink yourself stupid!
