Michael does not need a sponsorship membership as he IS NOT a partner, it is that simple.
Ridiculous, you need to see the partnership agreement???? His name is not on it.
True he is at the store a lot and a friend and loves the hobby and wants to see us suceed, thats it.
When and if he is a partner, you will be first to know.
If he does, he would fall under the GCReef sponsorship anyhow, not an individual membership.
I very much appreciate the concern of the moderators and the BOD in this matter.

are you kidding me?? why has everything gotten so despotic?? even if he was a partner, what difference would it make?? employees of our LFS's are always welcome to harp on how awesome their employer is as long as the fish store paid their sponsorship dues. how is this any different??? people plug stuff all the time, and if a person is willing to be that kind of conduit for a place that has evidently done him a solid, why is it the duty of maast to interfere??? this kind of attitude is why i didn't participate when i was on the board. it was a little too "fearless leader" for me. it is truly sickening to see members of a club dedicated to the spread of knowledge about fish and coral crushing the kindred spirit and goodwill that should exist.

It was stated earlier that txmaverickmh was a partner of this business. If indeed he is, then he is part owner and entitled to a member sponsorship. I have taken this questioning to PM. I am certain that this situation will be sorted out in it's entirety, soon.

The thread started with michael stating he was not a partner. I have responded here and by pm with the same answer. Thankfully, some people see how silly this thread has become. Obviously that wasnt the intention of it to begin with. Someone was in hot pursuit for who knows what reason, sometimes that happens here........I have seen it before when I was a BOD for a year. But, I think most people see through it for what it is.
