man that looks good casiano. but what are the 'scuff' marks? is that just from the camera?
i thinnk i will use alder for my next stand. i just had a stand built for me and it was from birch. don't get me wrong it is beautiful, but now i like the look of the alder better.

The marks are sawdust from sitting in my shop awhile i just havent lemon oil it so it can shine...Ya alder is a great woodOriginally Posted by aggman
