Default How to kill or remove Brown moon polyps?

I have brown polyps that are out of control. Tried kalkwasser it doesn't work except for making the polyps not being very happy for a day or two. Tank is very large so getting rocks off the bottom or out of the tank really not a option. What can I use to kill those polyps?
    Thanks
    Chris

I think Sherry has a fish that that likes to eat polyps though... maybe she'll rent it out?

Kalk will work, it takes time and several doses per polyp.

LOL Karin I bet so also maybe 2 fish that would love to eat those polyps but they may only like really colorful ones. Can someone post a pic of these brown polyps so I know if I have them. So I can watch them and make sure they don't get out of control.

Use a pencil torch several times. The rock will have to be out of the tank. I am going through the same process.

oh yeah, I used it right next to some SPS, actually on Palys growing on the SPS and it didn't kill the frag. They will come back again and again, you just have to keep at it.
