    Default UV Sterilizer

I have been having poor luck with tangs and after asking around I have decided to a sterilizer to my tank. My question is since my refugium is in my sump how do I plumb it in without it affecting pod flow to my tank. Does it need to be on a seperate loop? If it does, where do my supply and return lines come from?

Pump up to the U.V. from the left side of your sump and back out into the right side of your sump.

Mine is in the plumbing to the tank, from my main pump.

I've got mine plumbed to the weaker of my two returns. The other is a RIO3100. When I have a large sand bed disturbance I shut my RIO off and let full water circulation only through the UV. When both pumps are running I'm sending pods up via the RIO and pod carcasses up through the UV and only performing a minor, almost passive, UV treatment of the tank.
