    Default PLEASE VOTE! SCHOOL PROJECT!!

hey guys..I was assigned to write a 10pg informative paper in my english class on any chosen topic. Well of course it was gonna have something to do with saltwater! I chose care of coral in the SW aquarium... know alot about it already and could always use some more research on it (and actually enjoy it) so why not? we also have to include some charts and graphs so i just thought to do a poll on the type of lighting people may use..Paper is due by Thursday so ill be using the results on wednesday night...Please answer to poll and pass the word..Thanks! and if you have any other ideas of polls i could use..shoot me some ideas!

I use both MH and T-5. Your poll should have a combo option as many hobbyist have a combo set-up.

We also prefer the combo thing... MH with T5s.

I use MH and LED. MH are 2 x 250w 20k and the LEDs are blue. The purpose of the leds on my tank is for extended viewing times. The 20k bulbs put off the perfect amount of blue so no real supplemental light is needed.

8 x 24w T5's and I LOVE them! I switched over from MH and I like them better, less heat and I can adjust how the color looks anytime with 3 different switches running them. I just miss the shimmer so I will be adding 4 blue cree LED's.
