48" dual beckett skimmer
the mag24 on the skimmer on my class setup quit and i have decided to remove the skimmer from the system to go all biological. i will be replacing it with an algae turf scrubber. this is what is up for grabs:
48" tall dual beckett skimmer with 6" diameter riser tube and mag 24 that needs new impeller and impeller shroud. i will be working on the drains on the skimmer so it could be used outside of the sump, but i would not reccommend running it that way.
(pics when i get home)
price:
hmmmm..... the skimmer has about $200 in materials in it and the mag24 pump in its current condition ???.
i think $300 is a fair price.
willing to take money/trade combination as whatever i get will go back into the school program.
what we will need in the near future:
sand
mangroves
all kinds of macroalgae
corals for the prop tank (softies only - no lps or sps)
fish for the captive breeding program - lmk what you have
