Ok tonight I looked at my mushroom and it was all swolen then about 5 mins later it was the same. Why did it do this was it agrivated or spawning? here are pics before and after.

They do it to feed. Mine do that when food falls on them.

Looks like you may have a rhodactis. They actively feed like that.

Indeed, when I feed my tank, my green hairy mushrooms get "swollen" like that to feed.At first I was a little worried but when I noticed a pattern, I figured they were feeding.

Yeah I just fed before it did that so that's probably it.
