    Default New 92gal corner setup

I am new to the hobby and am currently in the process of setting up my first saltwater setup.

Have done countless hours of research and it is finally all coming together.

What i have done so far.

Setup is an Oceanic 92gal corner tank.

Sump is only a 20gal, i would like to have gone a lot bigger here but it is really hard to find a square tank to fit in a triangular hole. Silly corner tanks. At some point I may try and make one specifically for the stand.

Return pump, i cant remember the model number but its a tunze.

Skimmer is a Reef Octopus Extreme Series EXT-200. bigger is better right...

    Circulation
    Dual Tunze 6055's

    Light
Coralife pro 24in 250w MH with dual 24in CF actinic's

Water is all mixed up with water from my nice new RO/DI filter, and oceanic salt.

The tank is currently home to about 100lbs of live rock and about a 1 to 2in sand bed depending where the powerheads have moved the sand.

    Day 1 Water and sand

About 4 days later i get my live rock.

Next day it clears back up really nice.
I have moved the rock around a little since these were taken.

    WELCOME!

nice start, corner tanks are great.

Glad to hear you did some research before jumping in. I researched a full year in 2003 before starting my first saltwater tank and it does payoff.
