not sure what he is but cool looking
90g mixed reef, 12g nano, 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 ferrets.
Driving the wife crazy.......PRICELESS.
I posted on 3reefs and they are saying that he is not reef safe and he is an orange crab. I don't believe this because his claws are smaller and he has blue back legs
Doesnt matter what size the claws are, what matters is if theyre serrated or if theres a pad at the ends. Difficult to tell from that photo, any chance of a closer pic of its claws? I would tend to agree that its probably not going to be safe around small fish...
I will try to snap a pic tonight with a real camera. This thing is the size of an emerald. This was taken with my iphone here is another one
Probably not a good tank inhabitant...
Bill
215g FOWLR... and anemones, GSP, gorgonians... carp, that isn't FO!
"I killed my first SW Fish in 1971..."
I looked at http://www.melevsreef.com/id/crabs.html and there is one, Lutea commensural crab for pocillipora, that is close but the claws and eyes are different, unless I'm not looking at it right in your picture.
I bet he can catch and eat a green chromis!
Here Fishy, Fishy, Fishy...gotcha!
