    Ah yes, there's always people picking either Canon or Nikon.
    I had a friend who bought a Canon then sold it and switched to Nikon.
    Then switched back to Canon. lol
    Point is, both are good. I'm not sure what your budget is but here's a few photos I took with my Canon 5D.

    I really have nothing but good come out of this camera.
    Although I do have a small "professional" point and shoot Nikon P80 which rocks too.
    Buuuuuuuuuuut Canon has my heart.

    Thank you.
    I've personally never tried a Nikon SLR so I wouldn't know. lol
    But I can share my experience with a Canon SLR and I love it.

    One thing I've learned after having both is stick to one and decide. The bodies in the long run are probably the least of the expense even if you decide to upgrade later. The rest of the gear should be able to flow to your next body.
