Can't say that I've heard of that before. I would not be too concerned if its on a soft coral, they have tons of defensive chemical compounds that make them taste bad to most types of predators and since snails dont normally eat coral I wouldnt worry too much. That being said as most people will tell you, nothing is a guarantee with saltwater.
yeah the snail moved along so yeah dont think he meant any harm i hopelol
I have never heard of a turbo snail eating coral. I have seen a few eat algae off of rocks that coral is on but never one actually eating a coral.
I've never seen nor had a turbo snail eat a coral. Now, those little bulldozers will knock even glued frags off of the rocks. I have one large one that has a favorite rock he always goes to every night. I got tired of re-gluing the frags every couple of days so I used the marine epoxy on them. They have beenfine since.

Recoil's right, they are like a bull in a china closet, but they won't eat hard or soft corals. They may clean off any exposed coral skeleton and appear to be eating one, but they won't eat any live coral tissue.
