Default Small smasher mantis shrimp - Corpus Christi

Looking for a small smasher to eliminate an overabundance of peppermint shrimp in my tank. I'm not willing to tear it apart just to catch them all, so I just want something to eliminate them.
    Thanks,

Wow... hard to imagine having this problem. Wouldn't you rather have a flame hawk (see the one perched on my hand in my avatar above) than a "thumb-smashing" mantis in your reef?

Totally agree with Kristy, once you introduce a mantis, you'll play he!! getting it out..

When you just watched a squad of pepps start ripping into your oldest coral it becomes a problem. And yes, they are definitely pepps, not camels. I want a mantis because I already have a tank that was previously set up for one once this is taken care of.

what coral did they destroy? I just lost my acans to the little terrors. I only had 5 and have been able to get 4 out in the 2 days with a net and some food.

Two colonies of acans, a Cycloseris, and they started in on my Trachyphyllias. I think that they're behind my mass blasto wipeout, too.
