Flake food is cheap and goes a loong way....though loaded with phosphates. Frozen foods for carnivores and omnivores is a more natural route. Alot of people, myself included, alternate between the two choices. But, the best advice is as wide a variety within the confines of their natural diet. From what i have researched, clownfish are omnivores and a mixed diet is the first insurance to a long, healthy, disease free lifestyle. For added nutrition you can also find Selco at aquacave.com for significantly cheaper than anywhere else i have found.

Flake food is the cheapest way to go. How long the food last depends on how many fish you have and how much you feed. I feed my fish pe mysis, it is more expensive then normal mysis, but it has so much protein in them as compared to average mysis. The more protein they have the faster and fatter they grow in theory. You may want to look into rod's food, it feeds every thing in the tank. Hope this helped.
