    do they get pretty big..

    and do they clean the substrate clean..

    or should i lean towards peppermint shirt and crabs??

    I had a 5½" and he would turn over all of my sand (1"dsb) in a day or so. I also have 19 hermits.
    too far in for it to be 4fun anymore

    yeah i just love the colors and personalities of the gobys but there is lots of them just want something to clean my tank and substrate

    I would definitely go with the Peppermint Shirt. Nothing like fashion to bring along one's tank.

    JK, couldn't resist.

    My own experience, limited as it is, I had a dragon goby and I was constantly 'basting' sand off of the low level zoas and shrooms. I could've never put a brain on the sand while he was dropping sand all over. Remember that anything that requires light will not like sand resting between it and the source.

    i only have one coral a soft coral and so far there is no sand on it lol

    but yeah think i am going to go with peppermint shrimp and some turbo snails
