    Default CPR bakpack skimmer help

I just bought a cpr bak pack and have a question. should the collection cup be full of water? Or do I just put this in far enough where bubbles can go up the center tube?

Yes, the water/bubble mixture needs to be near the bottom of the collection tube. That way the bubbles rising up to the top will be a little drier. Just raise the collection cup a bit till you can get a consistant foam at the top.

FYI, it may take a few days or longer for the skimmer to "break in". So you may be adjusting for the first few weeks till you find the sweet spot.

Also remember to clean the intake quite often as they clog fairly easy and also if you stop getting bubbles but the pump is pushing water you airline is probably clog with salt. My parents have one and I get to fix it alot.
