    Hahaha I don't remember what I thought it was.
    I might have thought it was a copepod 'cause when I started researching what fish I wanted, a Mandarin Goby was on the list and read they ate copepods.

    It makes me laugh though that almost everyone freaks out at what they find on their rock. And say... WHAT IS THAT?!?

    Just pods, good sign of bio-diversity and great sign if you are thinking of adding a mandarin. You want those "bugs", if you see bugs on your coral (or corals discoloring/ dying); thats when you should start to worry.

    lol Yeah I've read of those bugs that kill coral.
    I'm safe so far.
    I actually do have a Mandarin Goby!
    Bought it a little bit skinny but saw it was looking for food.
    It's gaining a little bit of weight.
    She eats frozen brine shrimp too.
    I'm glad I have pods.
