What are they? Secrative wrasse and Mystery wrasse. I recommend them to all.

i never see the mystery wrasse going after my peppermint shrimps but last night i was redoing my rock and gluing new frags and i took a rock out and threw a shrimp that was still on the rock back in and BAM the mystery got him ... i was like i thought they weren't suppose to eat them lol

i loved my brown bird wrasse best personality out of any fish but i couldn't deal with him eating 10 bucks worth of crabs/snails/shrimp in a day

    best friends

that's a melanurus wrasse. if you ever have some pests this is the guy to get it, he's very thorough and OCD when it comes to hunting. he's reef safe as far as corals go, but he wont eat snails but will pick on hermit crabs. my melanurus eats flakes, pellets, frozen food and sometimes nori algae sheets when he sees the other fish eating them, otherwise he'll be hunting until an hour before lights out

I have always loved the Harlequin Tuskfish. Eventually I will get another one, after I get a BIGGER tank of course

Many favorites including Hoeven's wrasse. Great guard dog! I often turn the pumps off so he can work over all the rocks.
