Well, I finally have had one of my pairs of fish start spawning....figures they would since I'll be moving within the month.....Anyways....I am gonna see how this goes with these fish and officially my own fish...I have relied on friends (Orion...thanks again and Avier...thank you for the GSM eggs) previously for my clownfish reaering endeavors....but behold.......

If you cant see the eggs, watch the male and then look at rock behind him...the silver things swaying in the current are the eggs....
Sorry for the shakiness in places of the video....I had difficulties obviously..trying to fend of the female and hold steady, all while trying to aim straight under water does present a little challenge......

Yes Alex (Aggman), this is the pair of bought from you....thanks....how long has it been?...I think about 4 months..I have it written down in my log....

I'll provide updates on this spawn but right now i am just crossing my fingers for a hatch....should be one of the next few nights, ...not sure exactly when they laid, as I was in SA at time...anyways, thanks to anyone who has helped out...

i sure do miss them tearing up my tank. everything is so orderly now, it's weird.

ah...so gsm eggs are silver! ive been looking for an orange patch of eggs.. i can always tell when they lay by their behavior but ive never been able to see the eggs bc the lay in a cave...i probably have seen them and just thought they were a hair algea on the rock.ha...well thanks for sharing the video!

actually....they were they color of the rock early on,...an orangish/red color.....picked up a blue hue, then eyes became noticeable, and then the silver...it is a progression that coincides with development......I would have never noticed them at first had the male not been messing around and acting different than normal...upon further investigation, they were eggs....

They hatched last nite...pretty good hatch...started about 1 1/2 hours after lights out, lasted about an hour or so......I turned off all pumps and beakered out the larvae, placed them into a 10 gal tank set up with aeration and heater, with 5 gal of new seawater that matched orginal tank parameters and 5 gal of tank water....feeding Algamac enriched rotifers......fingers crossed
