Thread: Six Line Wrasse Bully?

  1. #1

    Default Six Line Wrasse Bully?

I've had this Six Line for about a month and these last two weeks has been chasing off my Purple Firefish.
At first I thought it was dead 'cause I didn't see it for like 2 days during feeding!!
It was usually out and in the front of the tank and now it spends 99% of the time hiding!
I first thought it might have been a big bristle worm since I saw a HUGE one the other day.
But I think I'm believing it's the 6 line that chases it off and even sticks it's head into the firefish's rock.
I don't have enough posts to put it up for sale though. :(
I know how rare it is to find someone in Laredo who might want to buy him and I'm not going to S.A. any time soon.
Guess this is just a way to put it out there.
I really don't know what to do at this point.
    Poor thing always hides.

And expect him to bully almost any fish that is his size or smaller.....sometimes bigger. You could always send him to the Porcelain Bowl sponsored by UPS....Go Brown.

Does your local LFS accept fish, maybe they can take it off your hands?

You know that's not the best way to euthanize an aquatic animal. Putting it in a baggie and freezing it is the "nicest" way to dispose of a fish.

Hahaha Those are nice suggestions LOL

The only place that sells saltwater fish is Petco here! :(
I'll have to hunt down others that have saltwater tanks in my area.
But I bet you, it's going to be tough trying to catch him!!

Quick question! My friend has a saltwater tank but he has a 3" Picasso Trigger.
Would they get along?? Or will they fight when the Trigger gets bigger?
