    Default What are these?

    Hey all,

I was trying to figure out what these things are on my live rock. They look like white paint dripped over the rocks. At the end of some there appear to be some type of plant growth. Are they pests or are they okay for the aquarium? Thanks!

Feather dusters. They are actually a worm....inside the white tube. The "feathers" are what they use to filter/feed. Perfectly safe. Just one of the many cool creatures we have in our tanks.
