Question Port A Squid catch... where are you...

I don't know your screen name... but if I remember correctly your real name is Jason.

Jason caught the coolest of all the catches I saw at the Big Bird Port A trip... 4 pinky nail sized squids. They had super cool markings and looked very healthy and I think he caught them with a "blind scoop" of the net.

Just curious how they are doing. Would have been a cool thread to document everything from capture to captivity.

The squid had wicked big eyes, huh? Reminds me of cartoon squid.

Alas, poor Yorick...none of the squid made it past a few days. I'll give a try again when I catch some more, but I have the feeling that the stress of being in a bucket all night while we were collecting pretty much did them in, despite my air pump. Next time I catch some I'll be heading right back to deposit them in a tank.
