growth?
i have a growth in my tank i have noticed. its looks like cleto but white it grows in the dark areas under rocks. should i be worried? its very brittle

It is most likely just a sponge. I get it from time to time as well. Increasing the flow and getting a critter that eats sponge takes care of it.
It isn't harmful, just ugly.

Sponges are some of the best natural filters in our systems. Most do prefer low light and are also part of the filtration inside live rock.

Sponge is good, but some of mine started to get out of hand, so had to trim.
