honestly the quality, cuts, and paintings of the stand look bettter in person. i was very impressed with the end product. you know how in some you can see where the wood is not really that smooth and the corners are just not right, well in this one its almost hard to find the edges and were the wood is joined..... as far as the side cabinet i got the idea off another picture of some stands, that i saw in the internet, the stand had drawers under the bottom portion of the stand, but you could see them through the front, and that is what i didn't want, and since in my kitchen i have one cabinet just for my fish stuff, i figured well why not make one as part of the stand so when i spoke to the carpenter i asked him if it was possible and well now you see it there....
