My new skimmer
Well after much debate, I finally upgraded my 120 gallon tank's skimmer to a Royal Exclusiv Alpha Cone 170. The smallest in the line that bubble king and vertex collaberated together to make. So far I notice its easily adjustable, has a nice skimmate drain, everything appears to be made very high quality, and it produces tons of thick bubbles. It is a major step up from my old skimmer, and from what I've read, I think for the price and the warrenty on it, anyone who saved up for it and bought it, or just bought it outright, would be satisfied with this quality skimmer. This is the best skimmer I've come into contact with so far in my one year in reefkeeping, which is not saying much, I know that there are skimmers that might be more efficeint out there, but I dont see any after reading reviews and personal expierences from people who have used a lot of different skimmers, that would actually give you more bang for your buck.
