I forgot to say I had a decent mound and a few small pieces of live rock in the tank with the sand for around 2 months to seed the tank. The rock from reefcleaners is AMAZING! It is incredibly light and has a great shape. I will get a better full tank shot on here eventually.

Default Things looking quite bad now!!!

Well I have real trouble now. The skirts on one of the Zoa's are all stringy and extending out of the heads. I have noticed a small white snail also on two of my colonies. My Kenya Tree is even looking bad today. I am about to take my tests and give the update but please take a look at the pictures and tell me what you think this might be!!

And the snails look like this...

I am not sure it's the snails, they don't have the right look. I have had luck dosing iodine; might be something to consider trying. Did you blast them clean? Much detritus come out?

you might just have a nutrient poor system. my sister had the same problem in her biocube. nothing would last. i gave here tons of frags and for some reason it would not last. then we figured out she had nothing in her tank. it was too 'sterile'.

it seems that yours is the same considering you have had your tank for a while and from the pics it looks like it was just setup. no 'dirty' sand or algae growth.

we just overfeed her tank for a week and stuff started popping out. as did an algae bloom. but that lasted a few days only. now things are good. even her mandarin is still alive and well.

Yeah as you can see the snails are only white. They have the same shape as the sundials but just not the color. I took the colonies out and freshwater dipped them. I also picked what few snails I could off of them. They are not looking too good, hope things get better in the next few days.

The system is quite clean. My calcium has always been low but other then that all other readings seem great. I have been thinking I just did a really good job making sure I put things in at the right time and cycled correctly. The next few days should be interesting...
