I've been there! Awesome pictures. I really wanted to see a (small) shark just like the one you pictured but didn't ever see one... That's awesome that you did though!

I also went to Molokini and it was pretty incredible.

No, I did not go to Molokini. I wanted to, but my 7 year old was tired of snorkeling after two days, my wife said the I could go myself and she would watch her. Really, no way to go without taking her and she would not get up before 9:00AM. Boats left 7 AM. Maybe if I had one more day, I might have went. Spend one full day to Hana, and almost one full day to the Haleakala.

Went to two other spots of the west side. None were as good as Black Rock, (Maui Divers said they were better, [BS] more of everything at Black Rock). The shark pic - my wife took. She said she truned around and it was right in front of her face and after she turned around it took off. Said she was so shocked that she almost forgot to take a picture.

By the way, all photos, (except shark) were taken with a Nikonos V, Nikon Speedlight 105, Nikon 35mm Lens, 800 ISO Kodak film. Shark was taken with disposable Kodak Camera w/ ISO 800 film. Going to buy a second 105 speedlight, the 105 is not as powerful as my Speedlight 101, that I goes with the Nikonos IV-A.
