Sorry to hear this, the care level is not as difficult as you may read. In my last tank, I had 13 gonioporias. You need to ensure that you feed them, I target fed them daily, a mixture of mysis/brine/marine snow. They require moderate flow, but not direct flow. If you have clowns in your tank, they may host the flower pot. (Which will result in ultimate death) Your lighting should be fine....
What color did you get, the green flower pots are the most common, but the colored flower pots are more hardy. Too late now, but for reference, always check the bottom of the flower pot for recession, I have had some that grew back, but they took time and care.
Don't get discouraged..... if you were closer, I would gladly trade you a coral for it.
