Gabe's Fish and Exotic Pets (Worth the drive!)

Here are the 2 reasons I shop there:

First, Gabe doesn't order just the stuff he likes, he listens to hobbyists and tries to find out what we're looking for.

Second, it doesn't matter if you're a seasoned pro or only 2 days into the hobby, he treats you with the same amount of respect.

Oh, can't forget Jason.....very funny and laid back guy. I really enjoy going over there just to shoot the bull with these two.

BTW, I love the mystery wrasse I picked up today. He was swimming around the tank within minutes of being introduced. Very pretty fish. Thanks guys!

I have to say, Gabe's is one of the best stores to visit. I drive in from Boerne and make my 'fish store circuit'. I have 6 stores that I can visit in 1 trip and an easy circular route back home. It seems that about 80% of what I buy comes from Gabe's. I often wonder if I even should waste the gas going to some of the other stores.
His shop is clean, bright, and prices are fair. I found him just after he opened and just as I set up my 75 gallon tank. Was perfect timing.

P.S. BTW CoreyDude, you took my wrasse! Lol, I drove in for the mystery wrasse and they said they sold it 45 minutes before I got there. I hope he does well for you! The nice think is, there are always more fish in the sea!

Gabe's is a great place to shop for your all your aquarium needs. We go there frequently. He right down the road from us. His prices are great and customer service is down to earth cool. Like Family. They are awesome. If ever there is a chance that you are in the area go to Gabe's & J's im more than sure they will have what your looking for.
